I got a theory, people shying away from "older" music. And not just in rock, all genre's. shyts disgusting, cause the new shyt is so wack. Personally I think R&B peeked from like 62-90, rap peeked from like 92-02 R&B is like Rap Jr now, nikkas can't even sing, and become successful and if they can sing, they ain't talking about shyt. shyts disgusting. Rock is ass and been ass for a sec. but it had a long run like old school R&B.


The worse thing to happen to R&B was rap. from like 1998+ every fukking R&B song decided it needed to feature some rap artist. And all collabs weren't bad don't get me wrong. But that shyt killed R&B. imagine the Gap Band trying to do some shyt with Chingy or Earth, Wind And Fire collaborating with Ludacris.
