Well if you remember when psn went down for a month and a half last year. Or whenver that was.. well since they keys leaked in October
What sony hasn't told you is there shyt could go down at anytime if "hackers' wanted to attack the network again.
And they couldn't stop it (Tru Story)

They wouldn't want to take the hit publicly so they wouldn't even acknowledge it at first if it were to go down. They took a week to admit it last time

If you have signed in to PSN within 5 days prior to the start of maintenance (meaning: any time since January 12), you may be able to play games online and enjoy apps such as Netflix, HULU Plus and Music Unlimited during this maintenance period.
