So my TV's sound just died

It's not putting out any audio from any device hooked up to it or my digital antenna. It's a 5 year old insignia. Any troubleshooting I can do? and aren't TV's sposed to last longer than 5 years?

If I do have to get a new one, what's the best brands out. Only looking to spend around $400 for ~50 in

Insignia is trash. I bought one of those blu-ray players and it died after a year. You can find a Samsung in your price range.
