Bu bu but the experience:skip:

nikkas really :whew: they didn't get hit over the head for $40 to watch straight to home video level movies. Cause they woulda been big mad
I watch maybe 3 movies in a theater a year. Theaters aren't in my top 5 "leave the house" excuses. Get your home studio game up, brehs:mjlit:

the theater experience is more about the folks behind the camera who need these films going to the big screen to keep a paycheck coming in. Folks don't realize, that with movies hitting streaming services first, these companies will cut down on budgets, hurting the little guy on set first & the most, then the creativity will take a hit, then you'll be left making threads years from now wondering why film quality has taken such a hit.

I've already noted the dip in TV quality over the past couple of years because everyone is in a race for content...slowly but surely, quantity over quality is winning. We're out of the golden age of TV, and in one the emphasizes hitting all demos to pull in as many viewers & advertisers as possible. The convenience will always come at the cost of the art down the line.

Tenet wasn’t trash :ld:

I wasn’t trash but Convince me it was a good movie. I was excited to see it and ended up falling a sleep 3/4 ways through

I had really high expectations. Wanted to have my mind blown

But half the time I’m think what was the point of it all.

Movie theaters should be open seasonal only for block busters in the summer. With streaming taking over, no one wants to go watch non-block buster movies for $10+ and pay nearly triple that for snacks and drinks :dahell:
while possibly dealing with a shytty crowd
