MITB has basically made the IC/US titles obsolete.
Very good, it has provided a must see PPV every year, but some of the winners it has been an actual disservice to

They could still have 1 relevant midcard title if they put effort in; but I guess that's the WHC now.

IMO when Ziggler cashed in after WM this year it was even more electric. Between the pop he got when the music hit, the impromptu match, and Ziggler looking genuinely marked out when he won, it was a great moment all around.
They should not have the MITB every year IMO. They should alternate it with the KOTR.

The MITB is a good thing for the WWE but the problem is that having two mitb winners for each World title devalue it imo. Also, the winners don't really have the title that long for the fans to embrace them. I bet the last four winners that won altogether didn't even held the titles for one year.
It started off as something innovative and different but it has gotten kind of stale now. With them giving people like Ziggler short reigns and having Cena lose (why even win it then?) it has taken away some of the excitement for it. It should only be used for the mid card heel cashing in on the wounded champion or the babyface getting the push to cash in on a monster heel. I don't think guys like Cena or Orton have any business holding the briefcase since they are already over. And like others have said they should bring the KOTR back as a PPV with the winner getting a title shot at the following PPV. They should push it like a huge deal with nothing but clean victories with no count out or DQ cheap type victories.

MITB PPV has been one of the best in recent memory
2010 - Sheamus vs Cena with Nexus lurking in the shadows
2011 - Summer of Punk begins
2012 - Punk vs D-Bry, Dolph Dawg
2013 - RVD returns, that world title MITB fukkery
its a bigger summer ppv than Summerslam now (which is sad)

the kor was the worst ppv in their lineage.
it always featured huff ass shortlived matches, with no quality whatsoever.
which were only a plot device to move along the tournie.
which generally, usually resulted in the person winning never doing shyt with it.
i am real glad the kor days are over with.
if you wanted to get ripped off as a kid,..save your allowance for the kor ppv.

the mitb is a great idea and expands on the dynamic and excitement crash holly brought to the hardcore title, and defending it anywhere. except the mitb has more credible matches and performers who actually could be booked with some upside.
incomparison, to the fukkery inspired anytime anywhere hardcore title defense days.
RIP, to crash holly...
