like there arent a bunch of blacks who feel the same way towards interracial marriage

but we wouldnt VOTE against it. we feel that you shouldnt date outside your race, not because we feel better then the next man or woman. but because we know no one understands our experience better then we do. and we also know we have been preyed upon as a people for centuries. so there's no reason to walk yourself into the lions den. but again we wouldnt vote against black people marrying any race they desired to marry. just marry with caution. pray that your spouse loves the black YOU.

Is this a testament to there racism or an example of there poorly run state government?

It could be both.

poorly run state and a poorly educated electorate

but this is more of a reflection of every registered citizen of Mississippi since 1995

we can't just blame the elected officials for "forgetting" without holding the other 99.8% of the population accountable for forgetting too

I've always been intrigued by outdated laws, and lack of voter awareness about the laws being passed period

Mississippi is about the last state I'd imagine moving to.

Poorest state in the Union (income),
1st in obesity,
Dead last in education (high school and college grads),
2nd in children without health insurance,
One of the highest divorce rates,
1st in teen pregnancies (but they promote abstinence-only sex ed in schools)
3rd most dependent on government pork (but they're republicans!)
Highest number of churches per square mile
... and cacs there have always been the most viciously racist folks around :beli:

You should be after living in the south. Wouldn't be surprised if certain hick towns still have laws on the books in enforcing black codes / sundown towns...

Highest number of churches per square mile

:dead:

Maybe there is a "gawd" ( :blessed: ) bro :ld:

This is why I dont feel sorry for black people who live in places like those and refuse to move.

So when comedians make jokes about nikkas in MS and LA not knowing slavery is over yet, they're not really jokes? :ohhh:
