I was thinking about this not too long ago. Since the Mr. McMahon character blew up they seriously have ran the authority types into the ground. Some of them have been so pointless/forced.

Its actually a logical move. Foley does write Children's Books after all. So being a central character on The WWE kids show is great for his brand when you think about it. Its odd because you'd think such a legendary name would only be brought in for Raw or Smackdown. But I get it.

I hope Bryan does become his assitant gm because him and foley could be hilarious playing off of each other.

It's sad, especially when the last two choices have either bombed spectacularly (AJ) or are near-irrelevant and far past the sell-by date (Vickie).

The GM figure needs to go the hell away already. Like active wrestler Triple H and McMahon family storylines do.

Not exactly true - both serve their purpose. Saturday Morning Slam is for the kids and Main Event is a good show for people that don't have cable TV and still want to keep up with what's going on. They actually do a pretty good job on Main Event I think. I do agree there's no need to have a GM for SMS - that show is basically 1 1/2 matches long.

Don't u have to have cable in order to view Main Events? And Main Events was good when it started because they had quality matches. Now its just a lot of squash matches and Raw recaps.
