The thing with a lot of Lakers/Kobe Haters is that they are in denial that they are Haters.
So what they have more fans then haters what team doesn't...if you don't think other oppossing teams fans don't see the Lakers as villians or hate them I don't know what to tell U. THE LAKERS AND KOBE HAVE A shytLOAD OF HATERS...wake up!!
The reason the Lakers never fell of the national radar because they had Kobe
The national media is east coast so their is always an east coast bias as well as plenty of national media personalities who don't like the Lakers or can't stand them. Of course they use them because the Lakers move the ratings but ESPN has always had a thing for LeBron over anyone or any team. Their are haters in the local media too...ie TJ Simmers.
I just don't understand how their can't be more than 1 villainous team in the NBA. I've run into so many Haters IN L.A. over the yrs who can't stand the Lakers or Kobe. So miss me with that horseshyt U peddling.
Are you having trouble comprehending? At what point did I say that they Lakers didn't have any haters or even didn't have a lot of haters? I never said that I have simply said that they have more fans than haters which you yourself agreed with so what are you arguing?
Lakers aren't hated and are not villians.
I wasn't denying that the Lakers have individual haters or pockets of hate, I was speaking in general in that post. I have been speaking in general throughout this thread. Let me break this down for you. Yes the Lakers have people who hate them. No the Lakers are not hated on a national level or cast as villians by the national media.
Neither are the Heat/Bron. The national media is past The Decision/Heat Free Agency but that doesn't mean they are not hated nationally by fans or cast as villians by fans. I just always felt the Lakers/Kobe never stopped being villians by the fans. The Heat were just the new villians and new story.
I didn't say anything about Heat/Bron . The Heat arent' villians anymore either. Like I said after "The Decision" all that villian shyt disappeared after they won a ring. Outside of Boston and Cleveland the Heat aren't seen as anybodies villian anymore. You know how you know the Lakers aren't villians? The Heat became villians for doing the same shyt the Lakers have been doing and the backlash for the Lakers has never even come close to that shyt. America loves the Lakers. Deal with it. nikkas need to stop tryna play the "Me against the world" card because two people (hyperbole) don't like your team.
America loves the Lakers.
That's like saying America loves Obama
The Heat became villians for doing the same shyt the Lakers have been doing and the backlash for the Lakers has never even come close to that shyt.
They elected him President and will re-elect him in November. It's actually more like saying America loves the Bush family.
Since the Lakers have been Hated they have never did anything like the Heat did so they weren't going to get that same type of backlash. The Heat did something out of the ordinary. The Heats' actions was some shyt that came about abruptly while the Lakers Hate has been building since West got Shaq/Kobe. The Lakers weren't hated before Shaq/Kobe came. It still took a few yrs and the rise of the internet for the Laker Hate to blow up.
The Lakers have a sustain hate build up for over 10 yrs. shyt niccas are still complaining about the Gasol trade even after the fact that Grizz benifited from trade.
Yet Obama has a gang of Haters.
The Lakers weren't hated after Shaq and Kobe came either The return of the Lakers was celebrated. No one bemoaned small markets. Young black men didn't start talking about arrogance and shyt being over the top and narcissism (still at that). The Gasol deal which at the time was an extremely lopsided trade still wasn't met with the vitriol that MIA signing guys as a FA was. Not even close. at all this conditions you are putting on the shyt. "They weren't hated then, it took years for it to build up." "It took the rise of the internet.". The hate has not increased the random nikkas who don't necessarily reflect the national concsiousness getting the opportunity to express themselves has. The-coli and facebook are not the best indicators of what is going on nationally. If I was gathering my impressions of what was going on nationally I would think that most people in America ride with Floyd and TO when in fact there are actually 2 of the most hated athletes in the country.
