So last night pretty much put the nail in team no vote's coffin, right?

When black voter turnout is 50% in Georgia of all states, a portion of blame is deserved. I generally don't adhere to "black men aren't accountable"/"black men must save the community" talk, but to keep attempting to duck the fact many of us sat out or voted red for idiot reasons is an accountability issue.

As I said in the megathread, 57 electoral votes gone because we don't represent. Popular vote doesn't sway or win federal elections. Showing up on your home field does.

It's the politicians job to galvanize their voters, not the other way around.

The lesser of two evils against the SAME candidate was a stupid choice and now everyone definitely knows it.

It's a grown man's job to understand what each party is representing and how it serves them or not, especially if there's a 60-year history dating back to your group getting the right to vote in the first place that cemented their interest in working against yours.

You dapped that actual post of mine in the megathread so you don't disagree with my overall point.

I can't give half daps, the only part I agree with is that you need to show up.

It's an adult's job that is running a political campaign to GIVE a reason to show up.

Folks have short memories. Folks weren't around for the Voting Rights Act. All they see NOW is high prices for everything, not enough money to go around
and a candidate that is a Corporate Democrat cosplaying as a Black woman.

Do you understand that you assuming that everyone carries around all that history in their head is NOT the norm in this country?

Do you speak to regular people off the street? Co Workers? Randoms on the net that aren't on The Coli?

People go by what they SEE. Currently, folks are struggling. They see who is in power NOW and go off of that.

Call it whatever you like, but that is reality. But too many people live in the DNC reality where the Good vs. Evil shtick works like a charm.

This is the only portion that matters. Our history and position in this country is unique, and the radicalization of the right reiterates the Good vs Evil dynamic because modern politics are driven by ethnic identity and supremacy.

You're the one not listening, as well as the idiots thinking the economy's current state is a Democrat feat.

Or assuming Black people DON'T carry that history while simultaneously acknowledging the importance of us showing up.

I'm not gonna co-sign people's right to be dummies.

I really wished I never voted.
I’m not doing that ever again, neither candidates has our interest at heart. And y’all acting like voting really matters for black people and y’all still stick with the “we’re voting for our freedom” mindset and we ain’t never been free in this fukking country for over 400 years. The only thing that I am concerned about now is these lame ass Trump supporters who think they’re gonna go back to them old days where they can do and say shyt to black people without any consequences.

I mean... the rich, educated politicians and their families are less affected by bad policy than their constituents...

A politician fails to get a political position...but they still have the education, reputation, and connections to live a great life...

nikkas working part time in a warehouse gonna be on the street if food prices rise another 2%

:francis:

who's job is it really?...... i think the people whose lives depend on it need to act like it...

perhaps a stronger candidate with better policies will produce a higher voting population

exactly. They put a candidate out there who moves like she has the brain of a Roblox character and expected people to just go along with it because folks vote out of tradition and loyalty.

I'm not gonna blame this on non-voters for why Kamala lost but I just don't understand the option to not vote given the situation :manny: .

I was not 100% on Kamala either but I feared for this majority Republican congress and Supreme Court. Hopefully it does not goes as bad as I am predicating it to go. :francis:

Doesn't matter now. I'm ready to jump to team tangibles. I just need to know what phase 2 of the plan is after "Make dems lose."

Breh Trump got mostly the same tally of votes he got last time. Dems went 15+ million AWOL. Blaming non-voters is absolutely sensible. Some non-voters will claim it was a good move, others will get offended and deflect to some other group.
