I downloaded yesterday and will give it a listen on my way to work. Like I said he has some joints, I fukks with the Cold Vein but shyt like Fantastic Damage didn't work for me. Funcrusher was alright I guess. His shyt may sound better if he's not rapping on it

i love the production too.

sounds fresh as fukk (never really listened to El-P/Company Flow so i'm not really up on their music. maybe that's why it sounds so fresh to me.)

i really dig the layered style.

the melody on the chorus for Ghetto Gospel is too dope.

Big Beast goes hard
Untitled
Southern Fried
Go...

i feel like the heart of the album is the trifecta that is

Reagan
Don't Die
Ghetto Gospel

these three tracks back to back is really the soul of the album in my opinion. He was channeling Ice Cube/Dead Prez on these songs...I feel like Killer Mike is at his best when he does those types of tracks

Bad Day Worst Day
That's Life
Pressure
American Dream
God In The Building
Burn
Reagan
and so on

Killer Mike is UNDERRATED!!!

idk bout AOTY...
to be honest, i haven't listened to that many new albums this year but it's the best i've listened to so far.

had Habits & Contradictions and 4evanaday in the running but on first listen, i'm more impressed and enjoy this one more. i'll just have to test the replay value...
