Not true.
Disney commissioned this STUDIO to make animations way before lion king.
even possibly before Simba was on syndication on NBC in the late sixties.
Disney knew exactly who this company was.
as again they commissioned this company was work before we were all born.
not to mention in the grand scheme of things animated or anime.
you should look independently into more indepthly.
into who this company was.

I ask again what because there is nothing in the link I provided. Do you know what they hired them for?

:ohhh:

Not gon lie, I saw the original youtube video and was convinced. This breh didn't speak on the fact that the 1997 Kimba film was in development for 10 years tho.

He does but I understand if you missed it that vid is long as shyt.

He says he could not find any evidence for how long it was in development. He says what may have given people that impression was the date on the trailer but that may have been a typo.

so I can try to track down the original information i saw via gateway movie on this.
the studio they stole this from made cot dam astroboy I believe.
plus kimba was in America ln us syndication.
in the late sixties on NBC NETWORK TELEVISION.

this whole thing is all deflection from Disney.

You do realize Disney always commissioned Asian companies, animation houses and workers.
Even thr creator of Scooby doo.
who migrated to hannah barberra

originally was a Disney guy.

go look up the company and cross reference Disney and the company.
it will blow your mind because of the history Disney tries to omit.
plus it was a whole movie on this post on the net as well.
which gives the total gateway insight to this as well.

I have not clicked a link in this thread yet.
to know if the info is included in this thread.
yet i do know for sure i have posted on this.
while, i also saw and read gateway info on this previously as well.

Disney bogus.
that they had to steal this property.
as, it was the only way.
they would have become a draw again.
Disney was a low quality defunct dead cold draw before lion king.
disney was done out here.
past weird releases schedules of the animated classics.
that predate the lion king by like at least forty years for starters.
if you grew up on Disney.
just know that shyt is rejuvenated.
before lion king Disney was supa trash past the classics.
that were all older than us.
by forty plus back then.
this theft changed history and perception.
when Disney was done.
before they even ruined Starwars the first time with droids back then.
Disney was super garbage my whope life before lion king.
we would not be caught dead watching no Disney nuffin.

fukk disney.

To be fair, Disney in the early 90s had a massive resurgence with its "Disney Afternoon" Cartoon lineup as well as eating off "Beauty and the Beast" in 91 and "Aladdin" in 92 being massive critical hits. 1993 was somewhat murky, I agree :ld: , especially when Non Disney cartoons on TV were on some legendary shyt and caught up to them

"Lion King" just made Disney immortal from that point on.

Ducktales
TaleSpin
Darkwing Duck
Gargoyles (underrated)

But a lot of non Disney cartoons were legendary at its own right:

Early seasons of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Batman: TAS
X-Men
Spiderman
Superman TAS
Batman Beyond

by the time turtles came on.
especially the lull between gi joe, to transformers, to voltron and robotech being taken off air.

cartoons had hit the apex of being godly.
turtles was an enigma but after that it was dead for cartoons period.

Turns out they just got lions in common

That guys voice is annoying but the content was A+, watched about 15 minutes. There's no real similarities. As he poitns out people are comparing a 90 minute Disney movie to 3000 minutes of a Japanese franchise; INCLUDING MOVIES THAT CAME AFTER THE LION KING :mjlol:
