you heard wrong. youre probably getting them mixed up with the clippers or heat.
why the hell would iverson sign to a team that told him that he would be coming off the bench behind mike conley, and mind you, this was before conley improved to become an average point guard. and then, only to leave 2 weeks later? this makes absolutely no sense.
now that i think about it, i remember it coming out that memphis lied to iverson.
