Hmmmmmmmm naw I'm not gonna spoil it for y'all :shaq::lolbron:

Don't :russ: but it's seems like one of them is going to kick the bucket both have already been put out of commission for a period of time in this series. This is the best Transformers series 2nd to the Generation 1 imo

back on topic I always liked Hotrod he was one of my favorite Autobots, but I hated Rodimus Prime :manny: I know it's the same guy but :ld:

I'm apart of another Transformers forum tfw2005.com and we used to have one of the main designers for the toy line post straight from Hasbro. Back in 2003, he claim that was the protocol to keep the trademarks. Things might have changed but now with how popular the movies are, but every series will have a Optimus, Megatron, Starscream and a Bumblebee in it since that's what kids identify with.

As far as toys, yea we have Rodimus (no prime) and Galvatron (but no connections to Megatron).
Are them Tony Bacala links still up? :noah:

The problem is there never been a series until the comics now ( if you wanna read the best Transformers fiction EVER check out John Barber More Than Meets The Eye comic book.) where Rodimus led without worrying about Optimus. In Japan, they had a series where Rodimus was the sole leader for about 12 episodes before he was written off for the new toy of the month (Headmasters). Optimus came back then died again rather quickly. Then Rodimus flew off to find a new planet after Cybertron was destroyed by a bomb.

In More Than Meets The Eye comic, Rodimus along with Ultra Magnus, leads the crew of the Lost Light which has about 208 Autobots on a quest to find the Knights Of Cybetron. Like I've said, pretty great read.

Yeah I bought the Headmasters series on DVD it's all over the place story wise they treated Prime,Galvatron,Cyclonus, and Rodimus like crap in that series lol they turned Cyclonus and Scorge into utter buffoons :snoop:

Real talk, when Galvatron went batshyt, Cyclonus should have left that nikka in the Char bushes and ran the Decepticons himself.

His loyalty was just too :snoop:

Cyclonus was loyal to the decepticon cause. And for him, Galvatron was the decepticon cause.

As for headmasters.......:yeshrug:

For me when I first saw it was like :ohhh:. New scenes with Galvatron Optimus! Rodimus and Optimus at the same time!!!:gladbron:

Then I dug into it was like :beli:

The writing is piss poor. The best of the Japanese series is Masterforce. Which is just Transformers meets Power Rangers before Power Rangers were Power Rangers

I would love to see a series based off of "Last Stand of the Wreckers". Doesn't have to be that exact story since it was short but just that world with Overlord and Impactor with Prowl in a lead role. Or they could go the DC route and start releasing some stand alone movies like LSOTW.

Pretty much. It's a good series to be honest. It's barely a sequel to Headmasters. I think the writers knew how bad Headmasters was and try to get far away from it as possible. The writers really didn't like or get some of the concepts from the American cartoon so they tried to wrap it up in Headmasters. Masterforce was the first true Japanese take on Transformers. It was super popular in Japan because it reminded folks of Gundam and Robotech with the Autobots and Decepticons being more or less robotic extensions of the humans.
