Exactly, nikkaz was trying to argue with me when I said that it was LeBron THEN everybody else. Even fans who hate LeBron have to admit he is the best player in the game. I don't know if people realize how crazy it is to be UNANIMOUSLY considered the best player in a professional league
You say it like we haven't seen it in the past, and quite frequently at that.

It's more impressive being the best in a crowded field, than being the best when your competition isn't all that much. That's not a knock on LeBron, he's been in that conversation for years anyway (it's so annoying that you have to add disclaimers to everything on here or you're a "hater"). But it's more so the competition being :scusthov: than LeBron reaching a point where he just surpassed everyone so clearly. 06 LeBron would be the best player in this league too.

Triple double means nothing.. If people actually played their position they shouldn't get triple doubles.

LeBron is the best in the league hands down. But his numbers always over-inflate his worth because people don't look at context.

Dude is a starting SF so he is bound to have rebounds in the 6 to 7 range per game at least. Not only that, he's allowed to be ball dominant and every team he's on surrounds him with 3 point shooters so he's likely to get around 6 assists a game or more.

Where Bron has truly separated himself to me is his scoring ability, because he's become complete in that aspect. Can shoot the 3, post up, slash, has become clutch as hell, and can just score from anywhere on the floor. Call it crazy but the rest I feel is pretty much to be expected based on the position he's in and the way his teams allow him to play :manny:

Some players are just not great overall players. Doesnt mean they are better or worse than the other better versatile overall players.

Billy Owens and Lamar Odom are great examples of this. Jack of all trades and master of none. Which is what Lebron is by the way but dude is just far above and beyond anything we've seen before when it comes to rebounding, leading the break all in one. For his size he is GREAT at all of these things

Durant is just a great scorer probably better than Lebron and Melo in that category. But anyone who would pick him over Lebron is a fool

Fixed. Lebron has done nothing special scoring wise we haven't seen before and the same can be said about his defense.

He is third all time behind MJ & Wilt in PPG, how is that not special? :mindblown:

Not only that this dude is shooting 50%+ from the field now.

It's early in his career as far as that PPG goes. Shaq and AI were both up there at one point too.

Exactly, Lebron dominates the ball (which is a great thing not knocking him) so he's apt to have more triple doubles. Durant has been mainly a catch and shoot player, he's been expanding his game. Lebron is a one of a kind dude, some comparisons are unjust. Durant has 3 scoring titles in almost 400 games, Lebron? One. You mean after 9 seasons Lebron just has ONE? This is who we compare Durant to?:troll:

Career ppg

Bron 27.6

Durant 26.2

The only thing Durant does better than Lebron is score
(except no he actually doesn't)

And it didn't take Bird, Jordan or Wilt over 6 years to get their first triple double...

Its obvious if you actually watched the games, this is the first year he is actually exerting himself in other areas way more than before especially rebounding, defense and passing

Trying to shyt on KD to big up Bron is corny, but expected on here. :yeshrug:

Stupid thread.
