go register youngin. aint shyt gon happen. it'd have to be a tragedy of epic proportions for there to be another draft. we got all those reserves. then if you the only boy or oldest boy you in the clear
Any way EVERY male over 18 MUST register for Selective Service, its in the event we have and ACTUAL war and majority of the country has to fight. It also makes you eligible for ALL forms of federal student aid, the FAFSA process MAKES you register for it.
But if you are you mother's only son or the oldest son you WILL NOT be drafted ever. And if you are 26 and older you'll be last in line.

Im reading that EVERYONE has to do it when they turn 18 and if they don't do it by the time they are 26 they can have a fine of up to 250k and jail time
THERE IS NO FINE OR JAIL TIME. BUT YOU ARE FOREVER CUT OFF FROM ANY GOVERNMENT BENEFITS OR EMPLOYMENT/CONTRACTS.

FALSE. IT JUST MEANS YOU'RE LAST TO GO. YOU CAN BE SELECTED AS THE OLDEST. EVEN THE ONLY CHILD CAN BE DRAFTED IF HE HAS A MALE CHILD TO CARRY HIS NAME. MEDICAL/MENTAL REASONS ARE JUST ABOUT THE ONLY THING THAT WILL SAVE YOU FROM THE DRAFT.
forgot the last part...if your pops died in the military and YOU are his surviving son you are exempt.
But like people said, they won't put you in jail, but it does come up when applying for federal programs or federal jobs

I graduated at 17 and filled out the SS before graduation day.
