Straight Talk?

They have unlimited everything for $45 a month

They have two types of phones. Either sim or no sim
The Non sim phones suck ballz cuz the network is piggybacking off of sprint
But I don't think its even as good as the normal sprint user, I could be wrong since I dont' have sprint anymore. But when I did, the service was better than Straight Talk

But the straight talk sim, that service uses sprint/verizon/at&t network
You even get 4g HSPa+
All for $45 a month. And you can use any ATT or T-mobile phone, even if its not unlocked/jailbroken

Only thing you need to do is by the sim card directly from Straighttalk ($10)
Free shipping, get the $45 card for that month.
Change the APN and your done :eat:

http://www.straighttalk.com/shopsims

I'll be iPhone pimpin in a day or two. I couldn't justify to myself paying $100 a month just so I can watch youtube vids in the car or whatever the fukk you nigs doin with your phones these days.

I know T-mobile supposedly has $50 unlimited everything. No caps.
But when i went to a local t-mobile store nearby, they said that is only for the first 180mb or some crazy shyt. Whats really good tho?

Whats the data speed like? I pay 120 a month for 4g of data and unlimited talk and text on a GS3 with Verizon.

I don't mind paying that much cause I consistently get these speeds:

with the highest speed being 26 mbps

But why would you need that unless you was using your phone as your home internet as well?

Like I said, lets discuss and get to the bottom of this.
With straight talk, I'm on the shytty version of it btw. I can use my personal assistant anywhere (siri clone) I can watch youtube vids. My only complaint is my shytty phone. It can't run all the apps correctly or at all. Has little internal memory, so even if I have a large SD card in it.. it still gives me space errors. Thats it, the service for the most part is ok

But with the sim, its uses all the best networks. So service shouldn't be a problem.
If you a person who tethers, then maybe these are not the best options?
But if your like the rest of us? You can half your phone bill... you can even bring your number over
This one website did an investigation into this and this is what they found...

Review: The iPhone on Straight Talk | 9to5Mac

After reading that, iPhone 4s + Straight Talk = :win:
But 3g is good enough for me, so I might have to rock the 3gs
Oh wait, I'm getting both :troll: ($175 on clist)

You dont need to use a phone as a home internet connection to burn through more than 2 gigs...shyt i used that in one day with Netflix..9 gigs in a day with HBO Go..

I hate when people tell someone what they need or don't need. We all have different needs and wants from our phone/electronics.

I'm on the go and work in the tech industry, my tethering on my phone has saved me in emergencies when I needed to get work done and the cable/power was out; also when I travel to client presentations and/or meeting I know that no matter what I will have blazing internet if needed.

For the more shallow reasons, my Google music, hbogo, netflix, xfinity and youtube all stream crystal clear. Im not trying to bump some low quality music in my ride.

Ok, well you sir still rides the school bus n shyt.
Nobody has time to watch all that. Not even you, so fukk outta here with this bullshyt. We tryna learn shyt here, but everything isn't suited for everyone
If you a kid, yeah. You want to watch HBOGO and netflix on your fukkin phone all day? I could give a fukk what plan you got, your mom is paying for it anyway :stylin:
Just sayin. Back to the adult convo...

Well so much for adult convo :yeshrug:
How can you say "You hate it when" then immeidately follow up with "I tether" which is what I said :what:/:wtf:
You then mentioned all this other lame shyt, then ended your comment with a rather rich "I don't want low quality music in my ride"
Well sir, the purpose of this thread is to educate you and me.
I got straight talk, I don't have the sim card yet (will be here on monday)
Whenever I go out, I either play shyt from my phone already (big biz you know what it iz)
Or I use pandora or iHeart or even youtube.
My music never stutters. The quality is perfection, my system thumps
So whatever you was thinkin, I can confirm you was incorrect in your thoughts
But if you'd rather pay twice as much to do the same shyt?

Simple Mobile was great when I was using it, but Tracfone just bought that out so chances are it will just be like straight talk with those hidden caps

Huh? I'm all for an adult convo and educating myself on all the current deals. I use between 125 to 200 gb a month of data on my home internet connection, my phone is at 4gb. I said i tether in case of emergency and for business meetings, not for my home use.

In no way am I am a real audiophile,(i know physicists who know the exact science of shyt) but I can def. tell a difference in quality in both video and music apps if for some reason the LTE isn't running, but to each his own; I wish I wasn't such a stickler about quality.

Its only idiotic to a dumbass kid
Cuz no adult has time to watch all what you put in a day
You'd know that if you was one
Now shouldn't you be doing your homework right now instead of being on the net?
Its your parents fault, I can't fault you for that lil niglet :manny:

Yeah well if you actually looked at what was posted instead of just replying (common internet flaw) then maybe you'd be in a position to even say anything
No disrespect, but I assumed you already did that since you are replying... my bad for giving internet replies that much credit I guess :yeshrug:
But peep this, then maybe you'd see why your replies make little to no sense
It makes no sense in your case since you LTE pimpin. But peep this, then say something...

To answer your question, we just re-tested to confirm. Since Straight Talk is making use of AT&T’s powerful Nationwide HSPA+ network, users currently don’t need to unlock an iPhone 4/4s in order to get Straight Talk’s SIMs to work, but they do need to change their APN settings.
Its not just ATT either, they use Verizon and sprint too if ATT isn't available in that area/etc
Its not just iPhones either. If you have read the article, you'd of known that
Instead, you replied with "I hate it when" then followed that with "I tether"
Like, I hate it when nikkaz don't read shyt, but reply to it in a condescending way when in reality they are being the a$$holes for doing that
Watch your walk nikka when you speaking to a boss :stopitslime:

Dude I know you're just some clown ass troll who gets no respect here...But i asked initially:

"Whats the data speed like? I pay 120 a month for 4g of data and unlimited talk and text on a GS3 with Verizon. I don't mind paying that much cause I consistently get these speeds"

To which I got the response:
"But why would you need that unless you was using your phone as your home internet as well?"

I dont know the average speeds on other carriers besides my LTE speed on Verizon. I was just trying to ask initially what the average data speed was in the first place.
