I feel like you must be receiving pay to make some of the claims you're making here.

or maybe i know what i'm talking about. didnt i just say I BOUGHT the game yesterday? the game came out a while ago. i wasnt on here going nuts about it then. so if i was an employee i would've been all over the internet and on here yelling to the rooftops about this games greatness on release day.

all i know is, every single person that has reviewed this game(MOSTLY NERDS and non hoopers) admitted to not being ballers going in and have a terrible handle. after playing the game for a few hours they can tell their handles are noticeably better. now lets say you add in 1 hour a day on this game 5 days a week.

dont always assume because someone gives you a thorough review of something. they must be getting paid to do so. just maybe someone is trying to give you a heads up on something you may miss out on.

I live in the United States
lynch me then. i just scooped it yesterday. i was put on to it a bit earlier by professor(and 1 mixtape) who's seen at E3 helping demo the game. you have kenny smith talking about it, playing it, go online on their website and you can see other legit dribblers with already crazy handles trying to play this game. they love it. you know why? because its even a challenge for them.

so if its a challenge for them. that means it can actually TRAIN the non professional(street baller on TV, NBA), non D-I, II,III player. even the kid tryin to make the Freshmen sophomore team at high school.

YES it will expose your dribbling weaknesses. your off hand, certain moves, etc.

and for the record, the odds of you hitting your TV with the ball is super slim. you're dribbling the ball on the sides of your body and you're doing crossovers, etc from side to side so if anything the ball could be lost and start to roll to the side somewhere. even if by change it rolls in front of you. its going to be ROLLING not flying full speed into the TV. unless you're dumb enough to throw the ball at the TV. even the passing movements are done to the sides.

they have dudes on youtube that have reviewed the game and live in New York in apartments. and he still likes it.

Will moms and pops go for it? probably not at first. but if you are serious about balling. and say moms/pops has you in a few leagues. or you play for school. tell them you need this to help you with your dribbling and that the pros have used it as well as other top tier ball players and it will increase your dribbling fundamentals a lot. this could turn into a scholarship down the road.

do you know how many high jumping fast running dudes from the hood cant dribble and cant shoot to save their lives.

do yo know how many ligthening quick guards, with handles. cant dribble with their heads up as young kids.

this game could actually fix that.

Dont be to cool to give the game a try. and for the record its a legit high intensity workout when you get into the high levels(not highest. but medium level which is pro). thats when you start stringing all sorts of moves together like real life.
its one thing if you can cross someone over from right to left or left to right. its another when you can do the prime Jkidd double cross over. right to left, then back left to right without a long pause in between.

its one thing to be able to go around the back. its another to go around the back then to the cross over between the legs.

like i said, dont be to cute to give it a try. this is the type of stuff Kinect was made for. I'm calling it now. there will be training games like this in your top tier college training facility in the near future.

what if you're a coach wanting to recruit some 6'7 small forward that has insane hops. can hit the corner jumper and is crazy fast. but he cant dribble really. you can tell dude to work on his handles over the summer and they will get better. but the only way you would know for sure that they would get better is if you put him on a dribblers regimen . tell him to play this game all summer long and that you need him to get a 5 star rating on the highest level and on every song before the summers up. if he's able to do that. i promise you his handles with his head up will be on the level of a legit d-1 point guard.
Exactly. But right now, the people you are talking to are immature children who refuse to see what the game brings to the table.
My chillyons will be improving there dribble skillz via this game. I haven't copped it yet.. I'll probably download :manny:
But I seen a bunch of reviews from NBA Ballers who heavily endorse this game. You can youtube it anybody if you wanna see them doing it themselves...
I'd check it out off of curiosity, but I was weary of it when they faked hundreds of thousands of twitter accounts to follow the official account for the game.
This is the incite from a non baller. I could give a fukk if they slaughtered a baby goat as a blood sacrifice, if the game is good? Fukka twitter scandal :rudy:
You be lookin for the dumbest reasons to hate on a game. And you ain't foolin nobody when you say you might give this game a try :pachaha:
Yeah right...

You'd be surprised, most games are reviewed by reviewers who are burnt out on games. Don't like the genres they reviewing either.
A sports review.. A Kinect game review... anything that isn't already deemed a AAA game will be glossed over. Happens all the time
And every AAA hype game will get great reviews regardless how shytty the game is overall

Thats the day n age we live in right now...
my room is carpeted :damn:
I stay at two places.. one place had hardwood living room, the other doesn't
I'm still not sure how I'm gonna do this. I might just have to do it on the carpet
Cuz the hardwood seems like that would get too noisy over time.
It would be perfect in a gym tho...

it will work on carpet people. as long as its not SHAG.

actually as much noise as it makes. lol. you may prefer carpet.

Make sure do not have your xbox on the same floor you're bouncing the ball on. because if the floor isnt very very hard(concrete or wood on top of a very hard surface(not raised up as in homes with a crawl space). then the vibration could knock the disc off line possibly(just assuming). just a heads up though.

i hopped on it again last night. i'm still on rookie even though i did one song on rookie and another on pro the first day i got it. i said i'm going the long route. rookie for every song there. then move up to pro. i noticed when you click on rookie it shows the icons for all the special dribbling moves(behind the back, cross over in front, crossover thru the legs, cross over from behind to front or front to back. etc, etc there are other moves as well. but on each setting they open up the possibility of you seeing more and more moves until the highest level everything is opened up. in addition the tempo on the highest level is much faster. making it that much more difficult to keep up and even if you do keep up its a super workout.

so anyway, i'm on rookie, getting better and better. here comes the kanye song "amazing" . you know how slow that song is. you would think its easy. but not so much because i just got off of a somewhat higher tempo song. and this yeezy joint had a few double, triple beats in it. still got that 5 star(highest you can get). and moved on. i finished all of the rookie songs last night, then moved up to the pros and did like 2 joints. santigold had me :deadrose: still got that perfect. the more i played the better i got. the more intense it became the more precise my handles became. i can only imagine if i ever get out of pro and on to the next level people who know me will be able to see the difference on the court by then.

I'd check it out off of curiosity, but I was weary of it when they faked hundreds of thousands of twitter accounts to follow the official account for the game.

let me explain something to you. EVERY COMPANY does this. i wish i could find the research article that talked about it from KCRW.

they did a report about it on their radio station and it was on their site a few months ago.

some guy from one of the firms admitted. "YES we make fake twitter accts, fake facebook accts, etc" to boost people's appearance of being liked by many.

they found out who was really bad with it by running a a few legit questions to the fake accts and noticed they were bots because of the generic responses they got to very specific questions.

stop looking at twitter followers and hype to tell you if you should try something out or not. MAKE YOUR OWN choice. now what you can do is take a dude like me who've yall known for years on SOHH. you know darn well i dont work for that company majesco, nor do i work with dwill. now i do know professor who was somewhat involved with the demo of the game. but thats as far as it goes. i've played with him and watched him play. and i asked him to keep it 1000 with me. is it legit" he looked at me :whoo: and said, YEP its legit. its even difficult for him. he's a master dribbler most of those and 1 which are now ball up dudes are master dribblers.
