If you're a gamer, Intel >>>> AMD. You're trying to cut-down on all possible bottlenecks for performance and most developers code for Intel, AFAIK.

Also, no SSD for your System Drive = :camby:

With 2 TB, there's no need to put the System files on the same drive you're using for file storage and it's safer in case of problems.

Granted Intel does have better performance per core. But AMD processors are plenty good for gaming if he wants it, let him get it but he does need to tweak is build a little bit for maximum performance
