E Swift > Xzibit, rap wise.

:comeon:

Yall are taking this Xzibit hate to insanity levels. I'm all for ignoring 99% of his garbage work after 40 Dayz, all for calling him out for leaving the Likwit crew in the rearview after Dre snatched him up, but come the fukk on. And this is coming from somebody that actually fukks with E Swift on the mic. (As a producer, I can entertain arguments for him possibly even being in the top 10, if definitely not top 15).

Aside from obviously Tash, Xzibit was the illest MC in the whole squad, and it's not even close. He more than held his own on numerous collabos and had plenty of dope ass verses and tracks before he even linked up with Dre.

Disagree but Speed is a great album. His 2nd best for me.

Now here's an underground rapper who tried to go mainstream and failed with every attempt.

This song isn't the best but I'll take an album of this over some of what he tried to do on the shelved Van Gogh album

:scust:
I liked What You Want :to:

just for fun big mel (pause) name some albums you are currently bumpin from other artists

That wasn't wack, it just wasn't better than 40 dayz and 40 nightz.

xzibit actually as a vocal is of the highest quality on those albums, tho.

that is the beauty of those amidst some of the hook and beat choices.
him on the mic wise,...he is murdering tones and pockets expertly all through those records, tho.
we could only wish someone could come along and be way better.
than how good xzibit is vocally on those album.
