Just finished the Eminem song. A breathy She-CAC just sang the words "Go fukk yourself' which was so corny I laughed aloud.

Animals is the cut. That Preemo swing gussied up by Dre's knob twistin' jams. Too bad some nondescript, Comanche tribe lookin' youngster raps on it.

Are the co production credits out there yet?

I swear I was thinking this is gon be been there done that status.

so, I did not bother.
if it isn't Eminem.
helping to culturally lift dre back into quality, as a governing talent on the release.
it could turn out bad.
plus, since dre never got the rapper better than Eminem and could have, rather easily.
I knew this release could be been there done that status.

Best part of the Been There Done That project is the string arrangement during the ballroom dancing scene at the end of the video.

...and I don't even think it made the album.

:snoop:

THIS IS AWFUL.

Good Lord. Heaven help us. Allah U Akbar. Le haim.

This is is So bad.

I saw a bunch of white kids, hipsters, suburbanites, and latin folk praising it on twitter.

It was at that point I realized I would never give it a spin.

Yes. The album where Xzibit pretended to be better friends with Snoop & Limp Bizkit then Tash or J Ro. Awful album. Jelly roll should be drawn and quartered.

:dwillhuh:

Limp Bizkit and Jelly Roll aren't even on that album. Tash, J-Ro and King T are though

It surfaced as an awful Ras kass song with Wack 10 years later. Turns out it was an awful sample.

I'm trying hard to give this a chance but the only song I like so far is Talking to my diary.

I'm having a hard time distinguishing Dre with this new flow he's trying.

It seems like on every other track someone just randomly screams out COMPTON!!

I have no interest in hearing snoop or eminem anymore.

Now we really know why Detox never came out. This stuff just sounds mediocre.

I'll give it another listen on my way home from work.

After few more listens I feel like its an ok album

Some of the singing parts really annoyed me on this album, also few garbage rappers, like king mez, shyt was just :scusthov:and few songs were too long with intro and outro.

Album is not catchy enough, compared to the dre's standards, and may have done better with few better rappers.

But I dont know why but singin at some of these songs is reaaaaly annoying for me

:old:

Everything after that was whatever though

The Preemo song, 'What a Mess' is the only dope song I can recall from him on the following album. Xzibit was NEVER that dope, but he was down with the dopest crew and had ill beats. I always thought he got over on voice rather than bars.

E Swift > Xzibit, rap wise.

I actually, think this compilation is quite good, don't get me wrong, it's far from 'classic' Dre, but I think musically, it's one of the most pleasant albums I've heard in some time, and the more veteran rappers dropped some pretty solid verses.
