This is part of the reason I dont have a dog now. I had a dog when I was like 8 years old that lived all the way until my senior year of high school. That dog was a familiy member no BS and when she died I went through it something serious. It's like I was scarred from that incident because now I dont want to own a dog because I WILL get attached and I dont want to go through what I went through again.
