They been trying to gentrify it but they can't. It's too much of our history and black people not leaving.
3rd ward is not the hood. It's a historical landmark for black history near the museum district with black owned restaurants and where the Buffalo soldiers museum is.
Go to Haverstock Hills Apartments on the northside.
I promise you, you won't be disappointed.
3rd ward is a nice area close to EaDo, the museum district and my favorite chicken spot by U of H, JJs. The only reason why nıggas think it's the hood is because it's where fat bıtches go for brunch on Sunday and 5115.
Go to Haverstock apartments in homestead. My best friend from there. I'm just an IC poster but you can trust me. It's a good hood to chill at and pop shıt.
They legit change the name of Dowling St to Emancipation Blvd because of the rise of black businesses on that street.

My condolences. I been there when i first moved here. Them hoes mad crazy.

You realize Houston crime rate just got on the level of Dallas in the past 6-7 years right?
I’ve seen numbers on the fbi website that go bacc to 1985
Dallas was worsts every single year except for 2006 and 07 when Katrina implants turned Houston up
Only reason Houston caught up to Dallas recently is cuz Dallas has more aggressive gentrification
