So I was taking a history class as at a prestigious liberal university and the CAC female professor…

We were talking about American history and the South around the turn of the century.

And how black people, recently freed from slavery, faced incredible racial terrorism from all fronts. Lynchings, beatings, burnings, etc.

And this pale faced white bytch really said boldly “we cannot judge the white men in KKK from our 21st century lense, we have to empathize with their position and understand that they were victims too”

I wanted to physically lunge at this bytch from my seat in the lecture hall.

And keep in mind this happened at the most “liberal” university you could think of.

From that moment on I knew what it was. If I would’ve known what I know now I would’ve reported her ass to the academic senate :pacspit:

She also said some :mjpls: shyt too about how the native Americans stolen from their families were simply “relocated from orphanages and taught the American way by loving white families” :mjpls:

Shoulda known something was up because she allowed music to be played for extra credit at the beginning of class and she explicitly said first day to everyone “I don’t like rap music because it has cursing, if your rap music has cursing I will be taking points off your grade” :mjpls:

The fukked up grammar in your story makes it unbelievable.

Send this to her.

Covers segregation in the public sphere. How highways and freeways destroyed Black neighborhoods, how gentrification harms Black residents, White Citizen Councils, violence against Blacks trying to excercise political rights and more.

She’s a lightweight racist but she’s right that you can’t view things from centuries ago with today’s morality. History isn’t cut or dry. It’s very gray. Back then Africans and Indians were both catching other Africans and Indians to sell into slavery. And they would’ve been happy with this arrangement had whites not turned on them and colonized all of Africa or conquered all of the Americas. It was big business. People bought stock to settle plantation colonies and other colonies the same way we buy stock on Robinhood today. Sent guns and gold to Africa, slaves to the Americas, then cotton and other resources back to Europe. You can never excuse slavery. It was horrific. But it only persisted to the level it did because certain groups were willing partners in it. And trust we’re only a world war and a few nuclear missiles away from something just as fukked up happening again.

That’s what she’s supposed to say, though...that’s probably what’s in the textbook.
