This thread's gotta be a troll. Price don't make sense whatsoever unless you have dual 980's and top end everything else and if you did it's because you're a PC enthusiast which knows that with such a setup your games will look better than what the PS6 will.

Also, fukk a steam sale, there isn't one AAA blockbuster which is worth playing which is PS4 exclusive at this point and it will remain the same until Uncharted 4.

Plus, as someone previously pointed out, you can "acquire" most games if you're about that life. You've played no current gen games, but still wrote off the PC. Plus, as someone previously pointed out, you can "acquire" most games if you're about that life. You've played no current gen games, but still wrote off the PC. Nah I haven't checked out on it yet. Emulators for old shyt that I haven't played yet will keep me fed for the time being.

There needs to be more cross platform account support. I want some shyt where I can play on my ps4 when I'm at the crib and log into the same account on my PC when I want to do that. I have ps4 accounts on shyt I want to play for PC (warframe, D3, dragons age) but I'm not starting fresh, fukk that.

Did this nikka really spend THAT much money to play Fallout 3/New Vegas and Skyrim? Not sayin those aren't classics, but what's the point of spending money on a rig like that if you ain't gonna take full advantage of it? Some of those games came out early-mid LAST gen, so I can see why you aren't impressed. Not to mention I doubt OP realizes the added benefit of modding these games to enhance gameplay.

that's what I didn't get. dude spent all that money, and went out and bought a bunch of last gen console games (that he might have already played). then he doesn't even want to mod them. I don't know where in that he was expecting to be wow'ed by PC gaming

Exactly. All things equal, if you got a rig that can play the AAA titles on Ultra @ 60 FPS, why buy the game on a console? Why choose to play at (usually) 30 frames with no option to mod? That makes no sense to me.

I'm able to play at max level games such as Shadow of Mordor, Dragon age, the latest COD, fukk it I just "get" most games even though I have no will or time to get em and whenever I compare them to their PS4 alternative, it's not even the same ballpark.

And that's on a system which if built today would be at around 1500$, it's also my HTPC, my cable cutting platfrom, my emulator machine and my gaming machine, all in one. A PS4 is absolutely useless, my Xbone is collecting dust and my Wii U gets some love because of a handful of amazing exclusives.

BTW that 1500$ is a 970 SLI build, even with 500$ you can get PC's with better performance than your PS4. It's no longer even contested. PC race is two gens ahead.

Absolutely, there's a reason most devs when showcasing their multi platform games always show the PC version of the game in launch trailers and such, quickly we learn that this was the PC port and expect a lesser resolution or frame rate for both consoles, there's no competition.

Only real difference is fps and that's some shyt PC geeks have been brainwashed to believe makes gaming better when in reality it doesn't.

Go from 30 to 60+ and you'll notice a difference right off the bat, then you adjust and it's all the same again.

Nah, you misunderstood me. I'm saying the console ports are often shytty on the pc. Ubisoft is notorious for that. But bioware fukked up recently too.

It makes no sense, since games are created on pcs, but oftentimes console games run like shyt on the pc. Especially if you're trying to go above 1080p.

It's not all rosey on the PC side. You still need the consoles for some games, because they ironically run better on them. shyt pisses me off breh, but the PC gets the short end of the stick on a lot of console ports. I learned that the hard way.

Also we're in a transition with pc gaming, due to the new consoles and their shared ram. Our gpus haven't fully caught up yet. shyt's fine for most games, but not all. We need 6-8gb cards still.
