I gave PC gaming a shot, shyt still ain't fukking with my PS4.

Bought some shyts from the steam winter sale. Played maybe 2 or 3 hours, haven't played anything on PC since

^This was your thread starter....^
That is literally the definition of an ignorant statement.

So when people come to your ignorant thread to enlighten or educate you (because you've already stated how inexperienced you are with PC gaming) about the subject matter, you automatically take a defensive stance which kinda lets everybody know who's staning what if you know what I mean...

I'm assuming you did your research on PC gaming or you're just really financially comfortable at the moment, there is a third option which is "stupid" but I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt on that one.

So you either did your research and came to the conclusion that a ~$2500 set up is worth it for the PC Experience
Or you just have enough money to throw ~$2500 at something for the sake of curiosity
Neither of which I think is a smart move financially, no matter how much money you have at your disposal but that's neither here nor there.

You obviously didn't do your research because your acting surprised about the notion of modding and effort put into PC gaming.

PC Gaming is more than just the "Gaming" experience. It's no different than being a car lover, building a car from the ground up and putting new parts in it and then taking it for a drive. Every step is part of the experience, and that sense of ownership that you get builds upon that experience. Its the same with PC gaming.

Some people just want to buy a stock car at a stock price and just go.
others want a little more flexibility and customization.

But everything comes at a price, even if its just the choice to be able to do things your way.

So instead of the whole:

"Look brehs i got these nerdz so furious." post

Why not take into consideration some of the information people are giving you, because many people would be very fortunate to be able to spend that much money on their PC's but that's often not the case.

I got into PC gaming due to the very fact that I couldn't afford a PS2 and gaming on the PC that I already had for school was the only option.

this thread just doesn't make sense to me. how could someone who has any interest in open-world rpg's not have played FO3, NV, or Skyrim? maybe you're not interested in those types of games, but then why buy them (and use them to judge a platform they're not exclusive to)?

that's why I also asked about Divinity OS, since it actually is a 'pc exclusive rpg', but I got no response. but anyway it's also hard to believe he could make any kind of meaningful judgement on any of these games if he only "played maybe 2 or 3 hours". but maybe that's bullshyt too...

So I have been up late hours, and don't really enjoy watching TV or movies much. So I was thinking about getting into gaming again and just listening to some music while i play to help me sleep earlier.

I was much more of a Sega fan than anything else, but i typically ONLY get into wrestling and sports games (including skateboarding.snowboarding) ...

So what I am asking for is some suggestions ... haven't owned a system since PS3 (purchased a two years after it's release), which I sold in less than 4 months after being disappointed in the wrestling and sports games (with the exception of NBA Street Homecourt) ... basically Dreamcast was the last system i enjoyed.

Should I get another PS3, or should i just get a decent computer with a nice sound and graphics card and bootleg/Emulate?!

What's more bang for the bucks? What price range should i be looking at.

I also feel that getting a computer may be useful if I decide to start recording/composing music as well.

Right now I have a Windows 7 Gateway/1TB/6GB DDR3/DVD player/some kind of Intell processor ... will that suffice for PS3 quality gaming? Had this computer for like 5 years ...

Not only is that a shytty over priced Laptop but you basically brought a gaming laptop but after finding you don't like pc gaming plan to do other task with a fuccin laptop :heh: yea im calling :duck:

Ok. Let's bet a perma ban on current and any subsequent accounts? Nothing else needs to be said but yes or no

Edit: now its shytty and over priced. PC cats are this feminine and crab acting? You nikkas are seriously getting upset

It's almost pathetic, and that gauge in the pic was $1700, I'll probably never use it but I'll have it just in case. Same with the gaming aspects of this laptop
