Actually, Predator fukked it up. The third movie was supposed to come out in 1987, but was put aside because Arnold was working on Predator. And after that his contract for Conan ran out. But Kull was garbage anyway. Even though he was reluctant, I'm sure if he believed that the movie would have been on some real money making blockbuster shyt, he would have done it.

James Earl Jones is the only black man in the movie and he dominates white people, especially woman, with the power of the flesh, sacrificing white virgins to a giant snake So they have to go and send Conan to liberate a white princess who is entirely devoted to this evil snake master and the spell he cast over his white devotees is only broken after Conan kills him.

I think this movie is entirely driven by a white male inferiority complex
