And lol @ discounting it cause it was 10-0. Dude just threw one of the best pitched games ever. One could make the argument that with the score being so lopsided, that it was even more impressive, as a pitcher could tend to relax knowing he can make a few mistakes with no serious repercussions.

Perfect games are pretty rare, even though they have picked up in the last 5 years... it's the no-hitters that are starting to get common.

3 no-hitters already this year. One lost in the 9th. 2 perfect games. And I can tell this is just getting started.

The question is.... are pitchers really this dominant now? Or are hitters getting that bad at the plate now?

This year there were more blacks drafted in any year since, I think it was 1993.
