Lmaoooo Trap Muzik is not touching TM101 on production alone. It has nice singles but front to back it’s no comparison to Jeezy’s album.
nikka stop. The production on TM 101 is very rudimentary and generic compared to Trap Muzik. Also Trap Muzik is a FAR better sequenced and far better written. its not a discussion.

Trap Muzik>>>> TM101 overall, but the production on TM101>>>>>>. It is more consistent, even though I tend to lean more towards a sound like "I Can't Quit". There's a couple of weaker joints production wise on Trap Muzik like "Let's Get Away". It serves its purpose, but its weak production wise.

Lets Get Away is without a doubt the weakest song on Trap Muzik. But I can name a handful of weak songs on TM101 due the the production. The intro and its whack ass obviously fake as hell Cello plucks with no reverb that shyt sounds cheaps as hell, "Air Force" which sounds like a poor remix of the aforementioned track, "Do it For My Hood" sounds like a low budget parody of "Rubberband Man". Thats just off top. The production on Trap Muzik is far superior.

Where you from and how old were you in '05? You couldn't be conscious without hearing every single song of this in Detroit at the time.

101 was one of those rare albums that was a classic upon release in real time. I was a freshman year in HS for me. The one thing that stood out was Jeezy’s quotables. He got flack for not being lyrical (and he wasn’t the most lyrical) but his lyrics off that album is still being recited and quoted to this day. That’s a testament to Jeezy’s talent and skill. His delivery and charisma is what made you listen.

a few songs might sound dated due to the times but it still holds up well.

Till this day I can’t think of any albums that dropped with a slew of bangers like this one :wow:

Might be a top ten debut of rap
