i remember listening to his mixtape the first time with the face and the only songs i liked was Peso,Purple Swag,& Houston Old Head but that shyt grew on me too

even the crazy shyt like Acid Drip & Kissin Pink grew on me

his bars are sub par but he got 2 great producers and unlike most NY nikkas he knows how to make songs

I actually think for him to be a mainstream artist that "Goldie" was a weak ass choice for a Single. Dude needs something a little less "Hip Hop" to grab the attention of people who don't know or care who he is. Nobody cared about Big Sean until he put out hits... "My Last"... "Marvin & Chardonnay" & "A$$" made people care about Big Sean. They always say you're only as big as your last hit... though it doesn't apply to every *TYPE* of artist it does help someone like A$AP Rocky...

The video to "Goldie" was solid though...

Yeah... you already know the only reason they put that shyt out so fast is because the producer had a lot of hype after "nikkas In Paris" was so successful so instead of going with a better song they just ran with the flavor of the month producer at the time... dumb decision...
