The animation is not that revolutionary for it to take 3 years to release another season. I bet we get black dynamite season 2 before season 4 of the boondocks. This has been my biggest criticism of the boondocks. We about to go through another election cycle without it. It totally missed Obama in 2008 and they are about to the same in 2012...

Im 23 and none of the cultural references go over my head. You could get 90% of the jokes by just watching the Black Dynamite movie in general.

black history? 99% of it just pop cultural references from the 70's and 80's; but if you wanna pretend this is about lack of knowledge of black history, sure.

and i could assure you, you don't get all of the references on the show if you're just 23. unless you watched a bunch of blacksploitation films, listened to a lot of 70s, 80's, music, and watched a lot of 80's tv shows
