LSU is turning into a National brand across all college athletics. It used to just be football, track, and occasionally baseball.
Scott Woodard is worth every penny he’s getting paid deserves a raise. He went out and got Mulkey and that move has proven to be paying dividends with a National title and he also went out and lured Brian Kelly away from Notre Dame and he has that team ahead of schedule and winning the SEC West in his first year which is probably the best division in college football.
Now LSU’s baseball team led by Jay Johnson whose another Scott Woodard hire is on the helm of competing for a National title in the college baseball college World Series final.
Woodard has gone on record before saying the LSU AD position has been his dream job.
Gymnastics and track also have strong programs on a National level.
People don’t realize what a great recruiting tool all that is in getting elite college athletes there in an age of the transfer portal.
