I can see how people would be offended by this because coli militants will just see this as white people continuing the cycle of obsession of needless material things that often plague black communities. You also have to realize though if you're not involved in the black community and the discussion within it, these can just be some well meaning white dudes giving away free stuff that lots of young black people enjoy. I get tired of thinking the worst of people, so I don't mind giving them the benefit of the doubt but I know not everyone sees it like that.
