Personally I got no problems with this casting Butlers got the intensity and gravitas to pull off a good kratos.


That said the director they want for this shyt is the same guy who made Pacific Rim Uprising. Steven S. Deknight. The budget is slated at 150 million.

True when I first heard of him being cast my mind immediately went to to old man kratos lol

Butler's a better actor, but as far as looks go that's probably as close as you're gonna get. Based on his time on the 100 he can def do the action. Plus he's younger...if they knock it out the park the people are gonna want more.

I cant think of anyone younger that can pull off a good kratos. If they wanted to go older I can probably think of a few seasoned veterans that would fit the role, remember that cat djimon honsou? He would have been better. Hell I think even the rock would have been better.
