On Thursday, the ILoveMakonnen Twitter page tweeted out a string of now-deleted tweets that blasted Drake and Rihanna.
"F*ck @drake: and @ovo for getting on @fettywap remix and leaving me in the #cold," Makonnen allegedly tweeted.
In another tweet, Makonnen allegedly said, "f*ck a #cosign: forget ALL these NEW rappers I'M grammy nomimated (sic) with or without a @drake cosign im starting over and doing ME!!!."
According to MTV, earlier in the day, Makonnen tweeted "starting over," possibly hinting at his frustration with Drake and his label. But Drake wasn't the only person Makonnen allegedly tweeted at. The singer also set his sights on Rihanna.
"@rihanna is a slut for not getting on dmw5 f*ck her too," Makonnen may have tweeted, referencing his latest mixtape "Drink More Water 5."
But, after all the tweets were sent out, Makonnen revealed that he was hacked, and it wasn't him responsible for the prior tweets.
"Some crazy sh*t just happened here. Got hacked. But all is good now," Makonnen tweeted.
Makonnen signed to Drake's OVO Sound record label last year after Drake remixed his hit song "Tuesday." The song was later nominated for a Grammy.

In most other genres the talent is being able to sing, maybe play an instrument, or even dancing. Rapping you're talking to a beat, not a high hurdle to clear, plus your rep is built (back in the day at least) on you displaying your lyrical skills..,what sets you apart. It's not hard to see why writers are looked down on in the genre.

FYI....having a ghostwriter doesn't always mean having RAPS written for you
it does in rap though,yet people continue to use that phrase....the getting help with hooks,getting coached,isnt anything new and I wish more raw new artist who could use that help to be great would get it....people who throw out the ghostwriting word always seem to be vague and imo give the artist little to no credit....as if they whole career is manufactured and they dont really do shyt....But i dont feel that bad for em,probaly shouldnt be using help if you dont want the allegations at this point.

There's a difference between a ghostwriter and someone that writes a hook, helps with a melody or says, "I like that verse, but maybe you should say this instead of that." That's not ghostwriting, it's a collaboration and I think Drake does that 100%. It doesn't take away from his talent.
