This dude is being used as bait to help get Imperfect over. What's about to happen is now DB is gonna be in pissed at Curtis & focus his attention on him and Paul. Weeks up to the ppv maybe randomly attack him it get attacked. Finally they have a match for the IC title, DB puts on a good showing but ultimately loses, possibly clean but more than likely to some type of shenanigans with Paul.

But in the end, Curtis is they guy they are trying to promote as the next big star and he needs any heat he can get and who else right now would be better to help get him over than DB?

Why not give Orton the case so he can take on Cena at Summerslam. It's arbitrary. D-Bry wins the Rumble so he can face Cena at Mania...beating Punk & Orton along the way to stand out amongst the top guys on his way to a big Mania win.

There's no chance in hell that:

a) They have a long term plan going throughout 2013 and 1/3 of 2014 involving Bryan.

b) Even if they did, there's no chance they stick to that plan. Too much time for them to change their mind because they don want to be predictable (Sheamus winning the Rumble because Jericho was too obvious) or because someone else might caught fire/D-Bry stock goes down cause of lazy booking or whatever.


The Cena thing happened because it had Rock involved. He was a part timer and their biggest star so they couldn't afford changing their minds "big picture" wise.



Look, they can book around D-Bry not winning the briefcase, there's no question about it. But thinking he has the Rumble already won and that he's headlining Mania is a HUGE stretch at this stage. Gotta wait till December to see how he's doing to make a Rumble prediction.

Here's the issue...here's the problem. You're trusting the system too much. Stephane is a mixed up bytch...from all reports, always has been since she got a position of power once she left her TV character behind. Kid is really fukked in the head because of that lifestyle she lives. Cripple H apparently doesn't mean shyt to the big picture unless he just wants to put heat on you and keep you down...he's behind the packaging now with vignettes? Nice but if you bury the guy 4 months later, it's a waste of time. Vince is still the overall cat and who knows where that old nygga's mind is day to day with his bi polar ways.

Word is in the dirtsheets that Bryan and Cena is still going down and they
will be using the Bella's reasoning behind it like I said in my thread from a while back

- As of this past weekend, WWE is still planning on doing Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena for the WWE Title at this year's SummerSlam pay-per-view. The storyline will likely have a Total Divas twist to it as stars of the show, The Bella Twins, are both dating Cena and Bryan.

The feud between Cena and Bryan likely won't begin until the first or second week after Total Divas debuts on TV. There is a plan in place to do an angle on RAW where Cena asks the fans who they want to get the WWE Title shot at SummerSlam, with the idea that Bryan will be picked.
