I mean, any team team who offers Eric Gordon the max is :trash:

Although I feel he doesn't even deserve it yet, I would suspect he'll make it into the 8 figure range...but the kid has missed a minimum of 20 games over the last 3 seasons...and is coming off of a year where he played 9 games.

Gordon is good, but why would anybody offer the max for a an injury prone, below average defender who's never been an All Star?

because an injury prone below average defender who's never been an All Star would sadly be my team's best free agent signing ever.

I agree, but somebody's gonna make that move. Money's gotta go somewhere.

I think Gordon in Minny makes y'all a playoff team, but are y'all trying to offer him max money?

Perhaps. Probably the one chance they have of being able to sign him since he's an RFA. Same with Batum. Kind of a no-lose situation. You overpay = you get your guy. You get matched, fukk it, their cap is compromised.

safe to say, that combo >>> having lamar odom, kevin martin and luis scola. unless you like to be older, less talented, and more expensive

Thats why it was hillarious seeing all these idiots on here say that the original deal was the better deal

If the Hornets took that first deal theyd have gotten three ok players and finished somewhere in the late lottery got a marginal player and be stuck in medicority for the next 3 or 4 years

Now they have a core and a future

It was until stern fixed the draft :gladbron:

stern fixing the draft was known as soon as the trade was nixed. everyone knew they would end up with a number 1 pick, and it was discussed frequently in the cp3 nixed trade discussions about how the clippers deal was better because the hornets would end up with the first pick in the draft, plus another lotto pick. the clips deal was better from DAY ONE, quite easily, but lakers stans refused to acknowledge it

so why did the NO GM accept the Lakers trade 1st :mjpls:

:deadrose: people trying to argue that that was a better deal.

"Bu..bu...with Scola and Odom they can still compete. They could still sell tickets..."
