It took WWF like 30+ years into their existence to sell out a football stadium what are you really saying here? :russ:

I wasn’t talking about WWF as an entity, I was talking about Wrestlemania. It took Wrestlemania 23 years to move into a full time stadium entity. I wasn’t talking about WWWF or pre Hogan because that wasn’t national, just regional. If I wanted to , I could bring out them being in Shea Stadium in either 79 or 80 but that’s irrelevant to this conversation. If we are just talking Vince, it only took him 7 years to sell out Wrestlemania 3

This is what they said about basketball sized venues before All In. This ain't 2005 no more, WWEs monopoly with ticket buyers are basically over.

Capital One Center is more impressive than the Sears Center for All In. I want them to sell out the United Center in Chicago. Staple Center in LA, Barclays center in Ny., State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Like I said, I want them to run Basket ball arenas on consistent basis before a stadium is even thought about. Let’s get these ratings up above 2 million before trying to get to the final level.

FYI, I watch AEW every week. Not hating but let’s crawl some before running the marathon

They do run basketball arenas consistently. Apart from Fight For The Fallen, it's all they've ran.

They haven't been all sell outs..but neither is every laker game of a season. They can probably sellout a stadium show with a year to promote. They sold 15,0000 tickets in a few mins for Double Or Nothing. Who says they can't sell out 80,000 in a few hours? Not out of question

They would need to do it on a consistent basis around the country. It took Wrestlemaina 21 years for them to go into stadiums full time. A show with ratings under a million aint going to do it. A show with AEW, Impact, New Japan, ROH talents would not sell out a stadium, unless they ran the stadium Wrestlemania weekend.

:rudy: @ the bolded.

whats makes WWE talents any better??

Maybe in 5-10 years, they can, maybe if they can become more mainstream. Like I said, they need to get the ratings up above 2M consistently, and graduate to arenas in the major markets. They are doing good for a new company, but they aren’t going into a stadium until they break into the NY, LA, Chicago, ATL, Dallas, etc markets. I’m also talking about the actual cities, not the suburbs outside of it. I do think they can sell out the T-Mobile arena in Vegas for Double or Nothing if they choose to run it there.

Depends, do they have to sell all the tickets or can they give the upper level away for free? If the latter then yes

Their best chance would have been double or nothing.

Now with them doing 55 or so shows a year most people will be less likely to travel.

Internet is powerful..if they marketed it hard like it was life or death for the company, it would be filled up.

Nothing. It’s not about the talent, it’s about the the brand, WWE. You have a better shot of doing a stadium show outside the US than in the US at this moment.

Yeah and the brands that those talents belong to would not be stadium status in the US. Even if it was a supershow

If they continue on their current trajectory? Yeah. Definitely not in the immediate future.

you should've said brands instead of talent. cuz its basically all the same talent at this point.

but I can see a super-show doing a stadium in the right city. throw MLW, NWA, CMLL & AAA in that mix too.

and i mean a real super-show filled with nothing but inter-promotional matches.

They aren't ready yet unless it's in the right city. It looked like they tarped off a bunch of sections last week. I went to the show in Philly they had it where the temple basketball team plays. they def tarped off a few sections and the section where the hardcam is was kind of empty.
