most rappers from the previous generation had an intelligent narrative and rhyme and reason behind their actions and who they are. there was a sense of storytelling and a sense of purpose.

what were witnessing here is savagery to the lowest levels of our society. there is no narrative, there is no purpose. mobb deep/jigga/pac had songs of regret, frustration, reflection. there is none of this here. while rap has always maintained a sort of fantasy/reality, this "reality" is a group of kids throwing away their oppurtunity for nothing, in my opinion they shouldnt have been givin this in the first place. they arent ready for it, they clearly dont appreciate it, and they spread further the poison and the fantasy that this is a great life.

alot of yall on here talkin "real nikka this'' "real nikka that"

killing is always a last resort, a unfortunate but nessecary evil in a life of crime, these guys have none of that going right now. i dont respect it. i dont like it. period.

No one was afraid of Onyx and Mobb Deep. fukk you talking bout?:what:

back in the day when nobody knew squat about them, i'm sure they had people that thought they were really about that life.

nobody knows if these guys are really about that though unless one of them go down for a body or something like that.

I don't have a problem with it. I fukk with Keef's music.

My problem is always with horrible music and fake performers. Naturally everybody is reacting to that Webster looking kid getting murdered but that may or may not have anything to do with Keef's crew. :shaq:

Violence is a part of life and as with anything if you want to stop violence you have to get to the root, or cause of the violence. In American culture that's like an infinity loop similiar to the chicken or the egg argument. :dwillhuh:

No, Hip Hop should be happy that there's a real possibility that this dude's career is gonna end before it started if the most recent news stories are any indication of the future.

Crosses fingers, prays to God Interscope drops Chief c00n and nobody signs that jackass.

Probably because at 16/17 Pac was being bullied for being too feminine, Jay-z was a nerd & P was at a prestigious Manhattan school. 3hunna is the reality and true depiction of who are these thugs out here, mindless drugged out angry savages.
