Bad pick by NO Ingram never got a fair shot to be the "guy" at the position. NO wasting a 1st on him when they have a 3-4 back platoon and a QB that throws the way he does was retarded.

He needed Kromer to help him run better. The difference when Kromer was HC and when he moved back to OLine coach is noticeable in his running. He was pretty productive last year IMO for his use. If he got 20 carries a game I think he'd be good. Is there more to be desired yea but I wouldn't call him a bust.

Saints have to get a running back. They wasn't keeping Bush and didn't have Spelled yet. You made question why trade up but I see why made it. Plus Ingram never had a full offseason with Sean Payton.
