Listen I had just moved to Vancouver a month before the draft. One of my new friends parent had copped tickets for us and 6 other kids to watch the draft which was playing live from the grizzlies arena. It was packed with people just to watch who got drafted and when Francis face was revealed how disappointed he was it was the beginning of the end for a team in Vancouver. What people don't understand how dope this city is, if you can get over the lack of black people its amazing the quality of life, education business opportunities...If you have money. The city is not perfect but its better than 95% american cities. Vancouver could support a team, its one of the richest countries in the world and we have so many Chinese that fukking love basketball, there parents could buy them season tickets. They were ran like a fukking joke and people in Vancouver have so much other shyt to do, we don't have time for bullshyt. It's not even that they were bad, they just had no fukking idea how to run a basketball team. We weren't even in the bottom 10 in attendance, its just cause we were Canadian we had a short leash. I will never talk ill about this city coming from Detroit, this place saved me as a person. He fukked us but management already knew he didn't want to come, its just the type of bullshyt they did that made them look like amateurs. Like I said fukk Francis I hope he has a miserable life, some people should be thankful for an opportunity. Look what Vince did in Toronto.....You could have been the face of a nation and a growing sport. Dudes a habitual loser and so were the grizzlies.

But the quality of life I live as a black man in Vancouver is better than anywhere in the states. It's shyt like this that I hate so much ignorance. You're a second class citizen as a black man in that country but people defend it to death. Step outside your bubble before you talk shyt.
