Not at all. My QB is top 10 status right now and hasn't lost a game this year. Not to mention being spoke of a possible MVP candidate this year.

What would me talking about Russell have to do with being an Atlanta fan?
I said exactly what I compared them on. Work ethic/character issues. Are you saying that Cam has carried himself well in regards to speaking on the games? Dude is reaching Jay Cutler status with some of his actions.
I'm getting a little tired of people calling their team the worst organization in sports.
When did that title get taken away from the Bengals?![]()
The day Blaine Gabbert got drafted
This thread reminds me a lot of whenwas around and all I heard was "Oakland just needs to surround him with talent, he just needs to work harder, he's gonna be better than folks give him credit for, watch."
Well 5 years later and no one even mentions that dude anymore except for jokes and punchlines. Cam has way more talent, but his work ethic and demeanor is not all that different from Russell. Russell just snuck in a ridiculous contract.
Some of these gifted QBs just don't work out... and a lot of the times, it's really just a mental issue or nagging injury. I think Cam still has another few years to prove himself, but he has seen how quick Carolina is to draft another "franchise QB" after the Jimmy Clausen failure. I just hope he doesn't end up like Vince Young.
He should work hard at catching passes
How does cam carrying himself in games compare to work ethic/character issues? You provide no evidence of work ethic issues. Did you find some article about him lazing about during the offseason? What character issues are exactly you talking about? Did his teammates bring up any issues with him because I'm pretty sure the only character issues that matter would be the ones that affect the team and from what I gather about cam is that his teammates love and respect his will to win.
Because he doesn't like to talk to the media he has work ethic/character issues? So what exactly are you talking about?![]()
You tell me if Cam has gotten better at his craft in the past 2 years. I'm watching him play. I see him doing some of the same mistakes he made as a rookie. I'm not saying he's not practicing harder, but he's not being smarter with the football.
Maybe I mean being smarter with his play more so than playing harder. I don't deny that Cam lays it all out there on the field. But he's not taking chances to progress. A bunch of QBs had to learn on their own some how to develop in shytty situations. Hell, Russell Wilson is making better throws with worse receivers.
No he isn't breh. You should watch more games.
Cam gives the Panthers the lead in the 4th quarter AGAIN and as usual the defense blows it for him.
