What will end up happen is talent will get checks like spotify has been giving musicians. Cents on the dollar unless you are a guy who has been featured in scores of WWE network content that is streamed frequently. Obviously someone like Hogan may see 7 figures come their way, but someone like Bagwell may end up getting a check for 23 cents.
And a check that small will prevent other bums from filing a suit since the legal fees won't cover it.

Because WWE purchased the company/contracts. If all you had to do was "go out of business" to not have to honor your past contracts and pay your bills, companies would just re-organize under new entities every few months. That's what bankruptcy is for...
