YO, we need to incorporate both.

Use youtube live streaming so people can have a chat and you can even use the google hang out component to bring people on the show. People can also donate via the chat if that is what you want to do. Then I say we take the audio from that and put it up on soundcloud as a podcast. We can do both very easily!
