How does the "taking your ball and going home" saying apply to someone who won at WM? :what:

They obviously don't want Punk getting cheered that much on TV.

Can't speak for anyone else.
Punk wasn’t pulled due to the injury. He was originally scripted to do a promo, and was backstage at the show. When the show was re-written, the decision was made not to have him on because of the belief that audience would cheer him so much and that wasn’t what WWE wanted. So they had Paul Heyman, who was cheered heavily, only do a backstage promo (so the cheers wouldn’t be as noticeable) and he said how Punk would be talking, but not until next week’s show. The idea was to build something for the next week.
I've gotten so deep in this insider shyt that I'm starting think like Vince :merchant:

all those guys not on the show and its the best wwe produced tv show since last years night after mania?:ohhh:

Honestly outside of Ziggler cashing in,Cena trolling in the opening and Y2J/Fandango fukkery the show was pretty garbage to be honest. Sheamus/Orton was trash the promo and the match, Del Rio vs Swagger was boring and the main event was so short I don't even think it went 5 minutes.

Crowd carried this show but if the crowd wasn't the stars this show would've been typical summer time garbage.
