if you have rich/wealthy friends or VERY generous people you know...tell them ASAP and they need to be the FIRST to know about the baby shower so they'll buy the stuff you REALLY need (diapers, crib, car seat(s), stuff you don't think about like play mats, changing table/station, and not the stuff you can AFFORD on your OWN like clothes and shoes which is the typical shyt we got at our baby shower

fukk toys., seriously. some is ok obviously but for b days or showers just ask for things you need. kids from 1-2 barely even play with 80% of the stuff they have. save your money.

dont know your income but if your lower- middle class get on the WIC program. milk is expensive as fukk and you can get cereal and shyt too

dont get ahead of yourself mentally. it will seem easy as hell to have a baby for the first 6 -8 months. once they start moving around it will become hard, but it will be fun and you will love it .

you can still smoke and drink just not like before. i get my kids to sleep and make sure there sleeping there i may have a couple a beers or a bowl.

-your child might like too lay on your chest too hear your heartbeat too soothe them since they heard it often in the stomach
-if your baby spits up a lot they might need soy milk which will help with the gassiness
-sleep when they sleep cuz lack of sleep catches up with you
-wrap them up good cuz they tend too sleep real good that way
-make sure they sleep on their backs not side or stomach
-burb every 2 oz
-have a towel on your shoulder cuz they tend too spit up a lot
-play baby music it helps
-cover them good in the car seat when its cold
-it sometimes takes a couple of weeks for the cord too fall off their belly button just clean it properly
-keep update with shots
-make sure u have a good car seat and its in properly
-wont see their true eye color for a few months

• if you got a boy, treat him to be respectful to himself and women, also teach him to be a man of his word, and if you got a girl, have daddy daughter dates, even if its something small like going to get a happy meal, they will member those moments and you will literally see there heart melt
• when they get older always ask how there day went and show interest in the things they like
• being a father isnt just providing for them, its taking time and being there for them no matter what
• be mindful of bad habits like cussing
• try not to fight majorily in front of your kids, even if there babies subconsciouly that will stick with them for the rest of their life and they will follow into the same habits as an adult
• if your girl lets you, talk to her stomach and the baby will recognize your voice
• TAKE ALOT OF PICTURES, they grow up faster then you think
• be there for the mother of your children as much as you would be for your children
• cutting the umblical cord isnt as bad as people make it seem
• try to have the mother breastfeed before anything else, its WAY better then anything else and it can save you money
• hand me downs are a blessing in disguise
• always read to your child and if they wanna try to read let them
• limit the electronics when they get older
• baby proof your house, seriously get on your hands and knees and you will see things you never noticed before
• if there quiet, usually there up to something
