Should have just started a brand new promotion. All the good NWA stuff (JCP, Georgia Championship Wrestling, etc) was already purchased by Vince McMahon. The NWA belt is a classic but doesn't have the look like the Big Gold belt, the late 80's/90's winged eagle, attitude era belt, etc.

Yeah it was in the late 80's to early 90's. The current NWA belt is the same one that was used up until they changes it to the big gold belt in the late 80's.
