fukk this alt-right conspiracy theorist :pacspit:

Elsewhere in the interview, Corgan addresses criticisms of his politics after his appearances on the alt-right conspiracy theorist show InfoWars. Asked whether he voted for Trump, Corgan states that the last time he voted was for Bill Clinton in 1992. “I’m a free-market libertarian capitalist,” he explains. “I’m not anti-anything except establishment. I find institutions and systems suspicious.” Coscarelli also notes that, during the interview, Corgan used the following terms: “culture war,” “fake news,” “globalists,” “Maoists,” “purity tests,” “left-leaning groupthink,” “protected minority groups,” “mass hypnosis,” and “social justice warriors.”

NWA in 2017 is like what if all the teams anyone gives a fukk about withdrew from the NFL... over 20 years ago.

It's an uphill battle :patrice:

What streaming service? What tapes? WWE owns all content from when the company was relevant. What do they have left? A couple of Dan Severn and Adam Pearce matches?

Sad to say, but the NWA name is worthless these days. So many idiots have driven that name through the mud over the last 20 years.

City of Angels :blessed:
Corgan seems like he has the money to keep dumping into it if he wants to try to make something out of it.

I dunno what the best business model would be though. Try to get a bunch of different indies back under the NWA banner and have a traveling world champ, etc. trying to recreate the territory system, or just try to build it as one company known as the NWA? I'd probably go with the latter, and I'd put the belt on Matt Riddle immediately.

:ehh:

Cool that he wants to be apart of the business this much but he has his work cut out for him with the NWA name. Anyone noteworthy working under their banner?

The NWA Houston tapes might be part of it (based on stuff popping up on the streaming service) & Vince wanted those before & couldn't get them. There are a few places that WWE couldn't get even when they bought most of it with WCW :yeshrug:

There was really 1 NWA officially & a bunch of places liscensed the name for the last few years after Bruce Tharpe ended up with it in 2012.
