Don't quote me on the specifics but I remember a few interviews during the street magazine/dvd era around Benzino's gangsta. There were a lot of local street gangs in Boston in the late 80s into the 90s and Zino and his crew were instrumental in bringing people together. Zino was getting funded by some repitable dudes to help his rap career and magazine thing. One of Zino's big homies ended up going to jail and basically left Benzino a high ranking position. Benzino got on with Dave Mays and when the Source blew up a lot of those dudes felt like Zino owed them. He ended up having a lot of problems like having his car blown up and eventually had to move out of Boston.
