So at this point, is there any excuse to have a decent job and NOT have an HDTV???

I'm muhfukkin :dead: at these stories of relatives or whatever only using the SD feed :russ:

I actually go into my mom's DVR and reset all of her shows to the HD channel, and she don't skip a beat :snoop:

one day I got an action movie in x264 HD and have never looked back

haha that was me....i had regular dvd rips of movies that id watch on my TV via my WDTV movie player and i thought I was doing something :obama:..until i decided randomly to download the 2 Gig blu ray of Avatar off torrentz since we heard so much about it about the graphics...me and my gf were like :leon::whoo::wow: when we were watching cuz it was so vivid on my TV...brrips/bdrips from that day forward breh:smugdraper:

Maybe it's just not a priority for some people. Not everyone needs to place value on material things all the time and keep up with the Jones just because. Live and let live. :yeshrug:

Man, these stories of folks continuing to use SD when the HD is available are too real. Got a brother who honestly claims he can't really see any difference. :wow:

While this is true, I would hope that if they live with this mindset, they would have no TV at all. We're talking people who can afford it here.

Most of my fam is slow on the tech game so when I copped my first HD tv they was all saying why would I buy an HD tv if I already have a tv (ol box shaped shyt). So on Thanksgiving I'm in my room chillin watching the Avengers blu ray on the 42inch they looked like they seen the gates of heaven. Next thing you know nikkas is at the dinner table plotting on if they can catch any Black Friday sales on an HDtv.
