Yup... for the most part. Same way rap groups are obsolete.

I think some of it might have to do with the headache that dealing with groups will cause. History itself has proven that more often than not, a successful group will only lead to breakups, inflated egos, money issues, and fights. And since the industry has become microwave-minded and lazy, they probably avoid groups like the plague. Dealing with four people at one time is prob. too much like work.
